Joby GorillaPod SLR
My only concern with the “holding” capability of the camera will probably only reveal itself with longer-term use. I have a feeling that the joints will become less stiff with age (how come it doesn’t that work that way for people?) and it will become more difficult to find a stable position. This Week i found this awesome tripod. The tripod is called The GorillaPod. It seems like a regular 6 inch ball leg tripod, but it's more than that. This tripod can bend its legs back, forth, left, right, up, down, and you can rap it around trees or poles and it won't fall! Well you gotta tie it on right or else it probably will fall so keep that in mind. Other than that, this tripod is amazing! The GorillaPod has two sizes. The GorillaPod SLR Zoom (this is for heavier cameras like a Nikon SLR or any other camera that is a bit bigger and heavier that will need more support than a regular digital camera) and The GorillaPod Hybrid(this is for regular digital cameras so the tripod is smaller than the SLR tripod because the hybrid was meant to be used with smaller size cameras like an original digital camera so the tripod is maybe two inches smaller) are the two sizes. This tripod is very useful and very nice. The only problem with this is that it is expensive. The SLR costs about $60 dollars and the hybrid costs like $40 dollars. Luckily i found one of these on eBay for a really good prise. I love how it can be attached to anything and how useful it is. I use it for my digital camera and my samsung video camera. The SLR is a little bit different because the screw is bigger. Luckily you can take of the screw and the original screw will be there for the original whole of a regular camera just in case you buy an SLR tripod but you have an original digital camera. I recommend getting this tripod for photographers that need a portable tripod that needs to be on a tree for a better angle. Its very useful for people who aren't photographers either. Their are many different web sites were they sell both of these so look for them now!
